Body-based, trauma-informed care for adults ready to heal at the deepest level
Something happened. Maybe it was a single event — an assault, an accident, a loss. Maybe it was years of something smaller but relentless — chronic stress, emotional neglect, growing up in a home where you never felt safe.
You may look fine on the outside but inside you’re exhausted from managing — your reactions, your anxiety, the distance you feel from your own body and the people you love.
Therapy can help you stop managing and start healing.

Does any of this sound familiar?
If any of these feel familiar, trauma therapy may be exactly what you need:
•You’ve tried talk therapy and found it helpful but incomplete
•You startle easily or feel on edge most of the time
•You shut down, go numb, or dissociate under stress
•You struggle to feel present during intimacy or close relationships
•You experience physical symptoms — pain, tension, fatigue — with no clear medical cause
•You feel disconnected from your body or your emotions
•You carry shame about who you are or what happened to you
•You’ve experienced sexual trauma and it has affected your relationship with your body or sexuality
How I work with trauma
Trauma doesn’t live in the thinking mind — it lives in the body. Talking about it helps to a point, but real healing requires working with the nervous system as well as the mind.
My approach integrates EMDR, Somatic Experiencing, NARM, Post Induction Therapy, DBT Skills, and Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy — woven together based on what each person needs. I am EMDR certified with specialized training in attachment wounding, developmental trauma, and dissociation, and I am a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner with training in specific touch skills work.
I also specialize in the intersection of trauma and sexual health — an area most trauma therapists aren’t equipped to address. As a Certified Sex Therapist, I bring specialized training to both sides of that intersection. You don’t have to choose between trauma therapy and sex therapy.

What our work together looks like
Trauma therapy with me is not about reliving what happened. My approach is paced, collaborative, and always guided by what feels safe and manageable for you. We build a foundation of safety before moving into deeper processing work.
Sessions are 50 minutes, available in person in Phoenix or via telehealth throughout Arizona. A free 15-minute consultation is available before you commit to anything.
My background in trauma work
I have been working in mental health since 2010 and as a therapist since 2015. I trained at The Meadows under Peter Levine and Pia Mellody and hold advanced certifications in EMDR, Somatic Experiencing, and sex therapy. My clients often come to me after feeling too complicated or too specific for other therapists. If that sounds familiar, you may be exactly who I work with best.
You don’t have to keep carrying this alone
